This place is my "go to" for Korean food. The place is quaint, not fancy, not pretentious. It's cozy, and I almost feel like family (it's family owned) and everyone is friendly.
IMO, they have the best banchan of the Bay Area CONSISTENTLY. It's always delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
Their food portions are generous, and everything is excellent. I have too many favorites to recommend any one thing, but I do love their Karl-bi beef.
I make a 35 minute drive to eat at this restaurant and it's well worth it ALWAYS.

Consistently good. We ordered the Short Ribs and the soft tofu soup with Pollack Roe. Both were excellent. The side dishes were also delicious.

Food was amazing, me and my sister went in for lunch it wasn't too busy and the service was great and so fast!!!

We continue to come here for take out. Service is fast. Prices have gone up. Galbi Tang is $18.95. Many items are $1 more - I took some updated pictures. Note that both jap chae and the fried rice are both chicken but you can barely see any meat. It is diced and very tiny. That is disappointing but the food is good. Just don't expect large portion.

One of the best Korean restaurants in the East Bay! My family's usual fix are their spicy bulgogi, seafood tofu soup and sam gyup sal. They are very generous with their side dishes (banchan) too. Friendly owner and staff. Highly recommended!

We ordered delivery.
We got:
Dduk mandu
Mul mandu
Kimchi dolsot bibimbap
Everything was delicious.
Highly recommend.

I really liked the 12 side dishes provided. Each one was very good and the kim chee and spicy Diakon radish were very hot. The bi bim naeng myun was also very spicy and quite good. The spicy pork was fairly good, but not the best I've had. The restaurant was very clean and the waiter had a great personality. He really went out of his way to make a connection with us and to convey how welcome we were in their restaurant. This means a lot to me since I'm Caucasian and have not always been made to feel welcome in Korean restaurants over the years, dispite the fact I absolutely love the food.
We found the prices to be average to slightly costly ($20 for Beef Ribs, $17 for Spicy Pork, $10 for my Bi Bim Naeng Myon), but the lunch specials were reasonably priced so maybe next time I'll go for lunch. My criticisms have to do with the length of time it took for our food to arrive (over half an hour for any food to be put on the table), and the fact that several tables seated after us were served appetizers and even main dishes before we got anything. There didn't seem to be any intentional slight since the staff was so gracious and willing to fill up our side dishes without any hesitation when we asked. I would recommend this restaurant to others, although I feel it lacks the charm and perhaps higher standards of Korea House in Concord.

Hidden gem in concord! The service here is quick and the workers are super nice! After ordering, a variety of side dishes were brought out (the cucumbers and potatoes were our favorite) and the worker served us hot barley tea!
We got the Gal Bi Tang Soup and Kimchi Chi Ghe. Both broths were very flavorful and packed with meat and vegetables. I liked that the Kimchi stew had a lot of tofu! One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area.
